Mr. Goodeve has over 19 years in finance, strategy and management
positions. Mr. Goodeve has been Co-President of a major private equity
group, lead over 100 acquisitions, and lead or participated in over
15 turnarounds.
Mr. Goodeve is the former Co-President of the second largest private
equity group in Canada. In his role there he successfully revised the
firms investment mandate, doubled the deal-flow, fully invested the
fund, and then raised follow-on funds in an oversubscribed offering.
Mr. Goodeve was personally responsible for half of the firm's deal
flow, was the lead partner on the fund's highest returning investment,
and helped lead the firm to its highest returns in history.
Most recently, Mr. Goodeve was acting CFO of CroMedica International
Inc., one of the largest providers of trial management services to
biotech and pharmaceutical companies in the world, where he successfully
executed a corporate turnaround and sale of the firm that increased
shareholder value by over 2500% within 9 months.
Prior to this turnaround, Mr. Goodeve was CFO of Washington Mutual
Finance, the $17 billion segment of Washington Mutual, where he led
the group to 600% growth over 2 years through 16 acquisitions. Formerly,
Mr. Goodeve was Executive Vice President of Bank America Inc. in charge
of corporate strategy and acquisitions for the Global Retail Bank,
where he worked with Mr. Hansen. Prior to joining Bank of America,
Mr. Goodeve was an investment banker with a leading Canadian firm where
he founded and ran the financial buyer coverage group, and an international
strategy consultant with Bain & Company.
Mr. Goodeve earned a Bachelor of Commerce (honors) from Queen's University
(Canada) and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
