Lee C. Hansen, Partner

Prior to co-founding Meriturn Partners in 2001, Mr. Hansen spent 12 years in finance, strategy and management positions. Most recently he was the President and COO of Stonepath Group, a publicly traded investment firm.

At Stonepath, Mr. Hansen was responsible for developing strategic plans, overseeing investment professionals, and managing day-to-day operations, including legal, finance, accounting, regulatory, and human resources. In 2000, with the decline in NASDAQ, management undertook a successful restructuring to rationalize its portfolio of companies and reposition the business.

Prior to Stonepath, Mr. Hansen was Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Development at Bank of America, where he managed key strategic projects, restructuring activities, and M&A transactions for the Office of the Chairman. Mr. Hansen was involved in a number of acquisitions, divestitures and restructuring activities for the corporation, including Robertson Stephens, Asia Retail (Taiwan, Singapore, and India), Midwest Retail, RS Investment Management, BA Commercial Fleet, D.E. Shaw, and Eastbourne Capital Management. Prior to his Corporate Strategy & Development role, he was a founding member and Vice President of the bank's International Capital Raising Group, where he originated, structured, and executed more than $3 billion of public and private financings for foreign companies and governments. In addition, Mr. Hansen closed high yield, project financings, and leasing transactions while he was in the Investment Banking area of Bank of America.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Mr. Hansen was a Financial Analyst with Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in the Middle-Market Corporate Finance and Real Estate Groups, where he executed numerous financings, credit reviews, and loan restructurings.

Mr. Hansen earned a BS degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University and an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University.
