Mr. Fastuca has 15 years of international experience in private equity, asset management, and corporate finance. Most recently Mr. Fastuca founded Allegheny Capital, an advisor and investor in growth capital and buyout transactions for private equity funds and wealthy individuals. Prior to founding Allegheny Capital, he was a Principal at Navigator Equity Partners, an $81 million private equity fund based in Radnor, PA. He was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, closing, and monitoring growth capital and buyout investments. Most of his efforts focused on cash-flow positive manufacturing and business service operations, with an emphasis on family-owned businesses.
Prior to Navigator, he was a Principal at AIG Highstar Capital, a $400 million private equity fund in New York City. Mr. Fastuca was responsible for all operating company investments, with a particular focus in the transportation sector. Before AIG, he was a Director of Safeguard International Fund, a $370 million private equity fund based in Philadelphia. His primary focus was in the specialty metals, metals processing, chemical, and environmental industries. Much of his time was spent reviewing acquisition candidates and portfolio monitoring in Western Europe. Mr. Fastuca previously was Director of International Business Development of SEI Investments and started his career at GE Lighting in Cleveland and GE Capital in Stamford, CT, serving in various financial functions.
He earned a BA in Economics, cum laude, from Bucknell University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
